About Dr. Karon Young-Lightbody

Karon Young-Lightbody, MD, is an experienced pediatrician serving the Calvary Medical Clinic team in Livingston, Texas. She joined the team in 2021, bringing over 25 years of experience. Dr. Young-Lightbody is compassionate, friendly, and loves getting to know her patients. 

After earning her medical degree, Dr. Young-Lightbody began her residency program at Cornwall Regional Hospital in Montego Bay, Jamaica, specializing in pediatrics, before relocating and training at the Cook County Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. 

Dr. Young-Lightbody has worked tirelessly as an attending physician in many renowned facilities along the east coast. She has spent the last 20+ years honing her professional skills as a pediatrician and is well-versed in diagnosing and treating pediatric conditions. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Young-Lightbody is a welcome addition to the team, bringing abundant medical knowledge and skill. She looks forward to working with new and existing patients at Calvary Medical Clinic in Livingston, Texas.
